I’m very excited to have you come to our community and do the Lazy Leader Road Show workshop. You are an amazing speaker and I know our folks will love you!
I do have a question…
Can we change the name of the program from The Lazy Leader Transforms America – One Volunteer at a Time?
I don’t think people will get Lazy Leader. How about something like Volunteer Management 101?

Dear Excited Leader,
The title of the workshop needs to stay consistent with all the other stops – otherwise it does not look like a tour.

I met with a variety of PR experts and marketing folk in determining the title…
- The Lazy Leader part is a “Huh?” factor – and will get media’s eyes.
- Transforms America needs to happen and appeals to those who want to make a difference.
- One Volunteer at a Time! Helps clue people into how we are going to do it.
The goal is to get as much attention as possible for the program you are hosting so the room is packed with local leaders – and as a side benefit for more people to be aware of your organization.
Does that make sense?
We’ll be revving up our PR machine as well end of July/early August to start spreading the word.
Our goal is to make being a Lazy Leader (not martyr leader) irresistible so more volunteers will get to enjoy being involved in your community in meaningful ways.
